Focacceria Cucuzza

Total confusion... Full place and few people working and/or not up to par since a waitress told us: they're all new! Let's go to the food... 1 hour of waiting to get the chips evidently they went to another table since people who arrived after us ate first! Even though they told us that they were in the fryer, they then came to tell us that they hadn't made them yet... Excellent feeling between colleagues, I'd say. Pizzas... Dough without salt, burnt on the bottom and raw on the inside. I would like to know how to make a pizza burn and keep the ingredients raw. One of the waiters carrying the plates with one arm made the bottom of the plate touch the pizza underneath, just the ABC. We ask for cutlery and they reply: we don't have any. But is everything okay?! After various requests they arrive and what's more they gave in. We definitely won't be back.

As for prices, we are in line with the prices in the area. The staff is quite professional. Summing up, I promote the Cucuzza focacceria. If you are in the area and want to eat an excellent diner, go on the safe side.

A couple of years after my first review, which in that case was positive, I find myself noticing a worsening! Always friendly and accommodating service. We were outdoors and unfortunately a neighbor at the table smoked excessively, so this contributed to making the stay intolerable. The rustici are very good, but the focaccia is decidedly mediocre. Overall I have to say that I wasn't even satisfied with the final price, and €1.5 cover charge for just a tablecloth, paper napkins and plastic cups seems really excessive to me!!
